MicoAir H743 and Matek CAN Periph/GPS

connects to Mission Planner as a normal COM port only (even though it has a CAN port) whereas a MatekH743 Slim v3 (also has a CAN port) shows 2 COM ports simultaneously, one Mavlink and one CAN, when plugged in. I’m trying to configure a CAN device on the MicoAir but am having issues. I’m trying to determine if there is something set incorrectly in the MicoAir flight controller by default or if I’m just configuring the CAN device wrong. Any help would be great. Should I assume that the MicoAir board is setup for connection of SLCAN over Mavlink?
