You plan the spraying route using mission planner GCS on a PC.
It creates a mission file, that gets uploaded to the flight controller hardware.
The mission file gets read and executer fron ArduCopter firmware running on the flight controller.
MissionPlanner runs on a PC. ArduCoper runs on the flight controller. Two very different softwares, that colaborate and communicate with each other.
