Just had a first test with the VL53L1X.
It’s great !
Since the VL53L0X had a usable range in arducopter of only 120cm, the VL53L1X is quite close to the promised 400cm. I had good readings up to 360cm (indoor)
Any chance that we can get support of this lidar in 3.6.x ?
Great, thanks for the feedback. It’s possible we can push it out in a “point release” but I’d better not make any promises… there’s a constant stream of improvements going into master and every time we pause and “cherry pick” out a change and release it it slows us down slightly… anyway, i’ll discuss with the other devs…
