It takes me about 10-15 mins to calibrate my compass (if I’m lucky), sometimes if I disable a MAG, calibration takes less time. (Is disabling one mag okay, are there pros and cons?) I found that an order of operations as in calibrating the Accelerometer & Level Horizon increases the time of compass calibration.
Currently, I’m using the Pixhawk 2.4.8, are there any hints or tricks on expediting compass calibration?
You will want to disable the Internal compass or at a minimum make sure the external one is prioritized. What does this screen look like with your craft?
Disabled MAG0 and put on relaxed now it calibrated very fast! I might have to go through my rotations quicker because it will finish calibration before all rotations are met.
