How can I power up an HD camera from Pixhawk?

Hello,

I already have an FPV camera powered from the power rail my receiver, but if I also try to connect an HD camera from here, I see a drop in voltage on the receiver, so I think connecting both cameras here is too much. Is there a way to power the second camera from a rail or somewhere from the Pixhawk?
Either camera requires 5V.
I am using a F450 frame with a Pixhawk 2.4.8

A BEC will do.

These are good ones: BECs — Castle Homepage

But there’s tons on the market and a google search in your area should turn up something. If there’s a RC plane hobby shop in your area ask for a 5V BEC and they’ll have something.

Thank you for your quick reply and for the advice.
In that case, do you think an unused ESC will also do the job?
I guess I could use it to power the camera and remove the signal and the connectors for the brushless motor. Please let me know if you think it could work. I have tons of them!

Yup. An ESC would work. A lot of extra weight and size but functionally it will be the same.
