Has anyone ever uploaded apm Quad firmware to pixhawk4?

Hello, I tried uploading apm quad to pixhawk4 this time.

Setting up a quad isn’t that difficult now.

But this time it is a little difficult.

This is because I uploaded apm ifficial 4.0.4 quad to pixhawk4 as mentioned above.

I uploaded oficial, 4.0.4, arducopter.apj, fmuv3 like this.

Simple flight is possible, but it shows a critical issue one by one.

Even today, after entering the althold mode, the altitude rises sharply.

I changed the frame of the esc and motor and I also calibrated the esc, but the motor is spoiled.

I’m just wondering if this FC is the problem, or is it the problem to upload firmware that way to pixhawk4?

I will try to make a quad again tomorrow using different fc under the same conditions

Would this be a useless attempt?

You should upload “ArduCopter-4.0.4 for pixhawk4” firmware.
You should not upload “APM-Quad” firmware.

im totally agree with Amilcarelucas…, you can flash the corresponding firmware to your board…, if you will flash the wrong one not only you can have some errors but also you can corrupt the bootloader of your board and after this you need reflash it.

Are the two firmwares different?
When I uploaded it, there were only types of heli, copter, and plane.
I chose the copter and set the frame to quad.

No idea what you mean by “APM Quad”. The Stable version of Arducopter firmware for Pixhawk4 is here:
https://firmware.ardupilot.org/Copter/stable/Pixhawk4/

I flashed like this.
I’ll flash it once with the firmware I got from the link you gave me

Thanks for good info

Select Pixhawk4 instead of fmuv3
