GPS denied navigation with VOXL Cam

When using VOXL Cam as a GPS substitute with the params as specified here, as the VOXL Cam position estimates might contain errors that accumulate over time, would it be possible to use some mechanisms such as QR codes to reinform the FCU the “ground truth” of its current location.

We are using MAVROS and ROS 2, but publishing to the vision_pose topic does not change the location on the FCU.
