GPS antenna position compensation

I’m building a large rover which will have the GPS antenna around 2.5m above the ground/COG, does the flight controller compensate for the ground slope to maintain the ground track between waypoints?

I don’t know the answer to your underlying question (I think the answer is yes, but can’t substantiate why I think that).
