Gimbal Protocol V2

Hello everyone, I have two inquiries:

A) Can someone explain how gimbal protocol v2 operates?

B) Does ArduPilot come with a built-in gimbal manager in its firmware? I’ve observed that gimbals such as Storm32 and Gremsy have their libraries integrated into the firmware.

Additionally, I’m interested in writing a gimbal manager external to the flight controller on a Raspberry Pi. Is this feasible, and if so, what are the steps involved in the process?
