General Arduplane questions from a beginner

Hi,

I am a beginner with arduplane so far reading the documentation and looking at the hardware for my next wing. This is my seocnd wing, first one being INAV. I am planning to sue ardu for some missions, logn range flying, auto launch from hand (at least that is how the mode is called on INAV), auto land this sounds interesting and some general flying.
Questions:
F405 Wing v2 from Matek will do the job? I plan to hook up GPS, air speed sensor and LIDAR for auto land.
I plan using LIDAR from Beneware TF Luna Micro that can be connected to UART. Anybody with some experinece with this? Will ArduPlane work if I hook this up on some UART?
