FT EZ ID GPS "No Fix"

I am trying to connect the “Flite Test EZ ID Remote ID Module” to my quad. I have been able to successfully accomplish connectivity on Betaflight. The module has a SAM-M10Q chip. It seems to recognize there is a GPS there when I have:

GPS TX (yes the right pin) connected to FC RX2 (which is Serial 3)
SERIAL3_PROTOCAL = 32 (MSP)
GPS Type = 19 (MSP)

but it has a “No Fix” status with no hint of GPS data coming through. I have tried to connect to u-blox 2 but have been unable to figure out to use MSP on u-blox.

My flight controller is the Mateksys H743-MINI and I have successful configured an M10 chip with Arducopter on this same flight controller not using MSP.

Anyone have any idea why it can’t see the GPS data?

Turned out to be a damaged board. Now I’m easily able to get a GPS lock using this module through MSP.

Hello Mike,

Would you have a recommendation on how to wire the Flite EZ ID module to the CubePilot?
I understand this is via the GPS connector but I could be wrong :slight_smile:
