Flight Problem using Speedybee F405 v3

How does it read the esc rpm? Isnit via ESC telemetry? My esc does not support it based on its specification from the manufacturer. That’s why i dont know how. I changed the takeoff min rpm to 50, and it still shows the takeoff error.

The foam underneath? For now I want to add it since I am still trying to know how to pilot this (during tuning) and I always have a hard landing that’s why I added it and there is also an Raspberry Pi underneath the frame body.

I can do making it smaller the same as the diameter of the motor mount.

Maybe after I got the gist of tuning this for auto flight, I’ll remove the prop guard.

Other users use the same ESC with BlueJay Firmware and use BDShot600 to get RPM telemetry out of it. It also makes it a lot easier to configure the notch filter.

May I also ask if the ardupilot features for speedybee f405 is capable of guided mode?

I plan to control this using pymavlink using the telemetry port on RPi (which I now use to configure it wiressly)

Pymavlink Commands to use are:
Arm
Takeoff
Go to global position
RTL

Yes, guided is supported even in that tiny board.

I now did a test flight but only in stabilize mode. Was able to hover for a while, but when i increase the throttle, one of the propellers blew up. Hub is in tact but the blades flew off. Maybe my propellers are not good quality and too thin?

Photo for reference.

Update: Now flies in AltMode. It just auto battery failsafes might be due to:

A. The voltage and current multiplier is inaccurate, I’ll be checking tomorrow using my power meter.

B. Battery is like 3 yrs old since I used this on other drones. Will check the voltage sags and current draw it it is still healthy.

I just reboot the FC when it happens and fly again for now.

Exploding propeller: changed to fozeer 5" donut (just for test) i also have 5030 props of good quality.

Will create a new thread for updates and other troubles.
