First flight with flow sensor, is flow hold ok?

Howdy! I’m following the PX4Flow installation instructions. Instead of disabling GPS in loiter, can I use flow hold to test the flow sensor? Thanks!

That’s a good idea. We didn’t have flowhold when we wrote those instructions… Trying flowhold would at least be very interesting. I think as long as you’re ready to re-take control in another mode like AltHold it should be safe.

Here’s the issue I’m currently having.

Flow hold seems to be a good way to test. In flow hold, my copter is pretty twitchy, and wants to oscillate. Is it safe to assume that I need to turn the flow scale value down?
