Is there a way to configure ArduPlane to trigger failsafe only if either (i) the aircraft is in Manual/Stabilize mode or (ii) both the radio and the telemetry link fails?
Based on the documentation, I only see how to set up failsafe to activate in the case of either the radio or the telemetry link failure…
you can have AUTO mode ignore RC loss.
there is no option for RC+telemtry loss.
in what scenario would that be useful ?
Thanks. It would be useful in scenarios where you take off manually, but otherwise fly primarily via telemetry. Once you’ve taken off, you don’t care if you have RC loss, but you do care if you have lost the telemetry AND the RC, because in that case you have no control over the aircraft.
