Another newbie question - sorry. USB connection direct into Orange Cube+ works fine. But if I attempt to use the external USB/buzzer cable (plugged into the 6 pin USB port), I don’t get any power into the Autopilot. Do I need to configure something for the external USB? Thanks
No you do not need to configure anything. I have found that some usb ports do not supply enough power when you have something that requires a large amount of power. The usb on my laptop is often like this and will not boot some flight controllers until another power supply is applied.
USB 2.0 specification allows up to 500mA, USB 3.0 specs allows up to 900mA. Doesn’t mean all computer boards are following this (and you can get more current than this from some boards)
