Drone Not Taking Off with ArduPilot

I finished the configuration of the “Mandatory Hardware” parameters in the Mission Planner as the doc for the AMC was saying.
Now I went on the steps that are shown in the image bellow, but I have a question.
In the 6.11 sector of the document, it says that I need to upload the .bin file I got in the previous section.
The problem is that I haven’t gotten any .bin file and so I can’t upload it in the Ardupilot Hardware Report site.
What can I do?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Using Mission Planner, manually download the latest .bin file from the flight controller to your PC and use it.

I have a problem. As you can see in the screenshot, my logs have wrong date and time. I saw that the date and time are determined by the gps, but how can I improve it, since I’m inside the house?
I changed the BRD_RTC_TZ_MIN to match my time zone, but no difference.

I also see in the mission planner that my drone is showing it in a completely wrong country.

Thanks for the help again!

It just means the GPS hasn’t been able to supply enough data the satisfy the EKF on the home position. If you’re inside there may not be anything you can do about it. It’s a physical limitation of GPS. Go outside and try there.

I brought the drone outside and the GPS is working fine and I was able to get a correct .bin file.

I have a question. When I uploaded the .bin file in the Ardupilot hardware report, I got the same pictures as the ones in the AMC doc, with the two differences the Accel temperature calibration and the Gyro temperature calibration.
I did setup all the mandatory parameters in the mission planner as the AMC doc was suggesting.

How can I calibrate these two sensors?

Thanks again in advance!

I did again the accel calibration to see if there is going to be a difference, but nothing has changed.

You do those two optional calibrations not using MP, but using AMC. Those are done in the very first step of AMC.

But those are optional.

Are you using AMC 1.0.15? you should.

Im using AMC 1.0.5.
I guess I need to upgrade?

Can i upgrade it, so I don’t lose the progress in the parameters or I need to delete the current program and download the AMC 1.0.15?

Just upgrade. All is preserved

Now that I have the 1.0.15 version of AMC, I continue to configure the 14_Logging.param and leave them:
Accel temperature calibration: :x:
Gyro temperature calibration: :x:
as it is because they are optional?

Now:

  1. start again, using “new template” and select the same template you had picked before, but create it in a new Destination new vehicle name.
  2. When you reach the component editor window close the software.
  3. Copy files vehicle_components.json and 00_*.param to 13_*.param from the old vehicle into the newly created Destination new vehicle name
  4. Start the software again, open the newly created Destination new vehicle name directory where you copied the files into, and jump to step 14.

This will preserve the steps you done before, while using newer, improved steps 14 and above.

And yes, leave them because they are optional.

I did all the steps from 1 through 3, but when I click to open the file and it opens the components pop-up, I don’t see the components from the previous file(that I copied).

You did something wrong, read the steps again.

Im in the next step, in which I try to test the motors, but as you in the video they don’t spin correctly. In the video im in the motor test tab in mission planner and I press the button with 15% throttle to test motor A.

Before I did all the configuration with AMC they spinned fine, what do you think is the reason that now they don’t?

Thanks for the help!

Post a .zip file with the entire contents of the vehicle directory created by the configurator.

The .zip file you asked!
NeoArxeioIXNK.zip (184.8 KB)

Do you really have two battery voltage monitors active?

No I have one. The second one in the parameters I skipped it.

NeoArxeioIXNK.zip (30.1 KB)

I corrected a lot of stuff, but it was already in a relatively good shape.

Unzip this file, rename the directory it created to NeoArxeioIXNK_v2 and open it in the configurator.

Comparing the files with your files you will see my corrections

You did not go through the parameters one, by one, a lot of parameters still had comments from a completely different FC.
