Bad logging is coming from frsky passthru, and will be created until something writes to the log like after arming. I asked if we can just remove it as an error would already be generated on a log failure. It’s very misleading. I’m looking at the IO Thread heartbeat, but I can say it is only used by dataflash and is not a general io failure. It also does not get generated if USB is connected because the checks are bypassed because if the sd card is mounted via usb. I think it too may be a timing issue but I’ll know more tonight.
Same “bad logging” problem here with " Mateksys F405-STD" and “Ardupilot:Copter V3.6.5”.
I tried with many MIcroSD, the problem persists.

I’ve added it to the Copter-3.6 issues list but @tridge is away for a few days so it will take a bit of time to get to the bottom of it.
