Hello, I’m currently working on my final year project which is a quadcopter with a mission planner, and I’m really confused about where to really start, well I plan on using Arduino for the flight controller but from research, I saw that it would be highly unstable, so I opted to use PixHawk flight controller( a cheaper version based on my capability). Please I have started going through the documentation but I still need support.
ya go head read documentation and do work, if any specific doubt arrives then post hear. A lot of experts are correct your issues. first, begin Now @Alex_Pam .
http://ardupilot.org/ here you can start.
please would it be advisable to work with the APM 2.6 since I am a beginner?
Hi @Alex_Pam above board is outdated. you need to buy a normal pixhawk.
if you fixed with APM 2.6 then firmwares are hear
it better to choose pixhawk
