AUTOTUNE - Pitch maneuver

The AUTOTUNE doc advises to make a 2s brake between inputs. On roll maneuver I just can do 4 to 5 full inputs and then keep the stick to the side to get the plane back and continue. But on the pitch run I have to make a roll input after 4 to 5 full inputs, or the plane is out of sight. In my eyes I am interruption the pitch learning process or is this procedure ok?

it is absolutely fine to interrupt to fly the plane.

Thx! The doc is not clear on this. So I stay in autotune, make my turn and continue with full pitch commands.
