Autoland - Plane - Pixhawk

I’m planning to make a concept for automated landing with a plane and a Pixhawk Flightcontroller.
So far I thought about the following sensors which are definitely required:

  • Lidar Range Finder
  • Airspeed Sensor
    The first step for me would be connect a Lidar to the FC, do the parameter setting in MP and display a distance.

Later for testing I was planning to use Gazebo in a SIL setup.
What do you think?
Has any one of you done something similar?


The best results I had is with the reverse thrust enabled and configured.
