What is the meaning a closed hardware option in the link - http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-autopilots.html
Should any of these be used now to develop some quadcopter or suggest some filght conrtoller with good documentation where computer vision, machine learning is going to be a concern.

We got patern that have closed hardware so we link them ! They are as reliable than open source one’s. ArduPilot is only software, we don’t do hardware.
All mentionned here can be use with computer vision or machine learning.
