arduCopter is arming but not flying

the problem is when i calibrate the esc and increase the throttle the all the motors are responding perfectly. but when i disconnect and reconnect the battery, the moment i armed the controller and increase the throttle its running for some seconds and turning off. and i again disconnected and reconnected the battery and armed the copter but this time as soon as the copter is armed i increased the throttle to the maximum and now all the motors are running at a peak rpm for very few seconds and rapidly getting into a low rpm and maintaining it constantly . kindly please help me with this issue.

Is the copter strapped down on some table?

no ! but now i have uploaded the frimware from the first and now its arming but this time it only flying for a certain height( about the knee level) , someone suggested to charge the battery to full before flying (am using 11.1v 2200mah 25c ). and after charging it to full i found that the copter if flying upto my head level. Am confused now , do i have to change the battery to 5200 mah 11.1v 35c? kindly please guide me .

You should always start flying with a full battery, yes.

But more important than that you must follow the initial mandatory tuning instructions in mission planner.

That log file doesnt work
But if you use BLHELI and DSHOT, check in BLHELI32 settings that you have

  • Low RPM Power Protect = OFF
