I lost my JST-5 connector cable, which connects APM2.8 and the Raspberry Pi, and I also couldn’t find that cable on the local market. Therefore, I hope to connect APM2.8 and raspberry pi 4 via micro-USB to USB cable for RX-TX communication. Is that possible?
it will show up as a usb serial device, you can also use jst 1.25 connectors. APM controllers are very old and run a very old version of the code so you will probably find most functions wont work.
