Adding mission item to mission plan while drone is actively doing the mission

I’ve been trying to upload new waypoints to my mission plan as the drone is currently in the air and have the drone go to the new waypoint but I can’t seem to figure it out. Does anyone have any idea how to accomplish this.

You have to exit and then re-enter auto mode to start the new mission.
