The industry has lot of old fashioned solutions, each system is often rather dumb and consider a small amount of input data. And usually odes only one sensor at a time.
I say Ardupilot EKF is was ahead of typical commercial jetliner.
They did not plot IAS, that alone could have been used to detect a discrepancy, not to mention using the other angle of attack sensor…
