5 GHz wifi telemetry

Hello,

is it possible to use a 5 GHz wifi module for telemetry? Are there any recommended modules? Unfortunatelly I did not find any info online or on the Wiki.

you can use the RTL8720DN with this code to make a dual band wifi bridge, you can get them off aliexpress for about £8
