I’m planning to run the plane on 2S1P Li-Ion 18650 cells. Now I can either put them side by side or as long “stick”, one after the other. Assuming that with both configurations I can achieve the same CG, which arrangement will give me the best stability?
My intuition tells me, it is the the side-by-side variant because it provides some inertia around the roll axis, which I expect to be most affected by wind. Am I correct?
