When doing SITL with Xplane, I cannot change the pid values in basic tunning. I have attached the screenshot of the window.
Does anyone know why?

What version of ArduPlane are you running? This might be a side effect of changing the attitude controller in the developer 4.1. If you need to use a stable release version of ArduPlane, I would suggest checking out this part of the documentation.

When you connect to SITL, it won’t download all the parameters at first. Go to full parameter list, hit refresh and let it load in all parameters, then everything on the basic tuning screen should be filled. Hope this helps!
