X8 RTF & firmware upgrades

Hello,

I purchased the X8 RTF a few months back, and I’m wondering if it is recommended to keep the firmware updated? I’m always quite cautious when updating my plane firmware, so I’m just curios what 3DRs position is on this.

Hi Warenn,

Yes, you should run current firmware on your X8. Current firmware for RTF models is 3.1.5
When 3.2 stable rolls out, I recommend you upgrade but the time being, 3.1.5 should be good.
