I’m simulating an RC jet in x-plane, and flying in manual mode, the plane flies great. When I add arduplane as the controller, and place the plane in manual mode, the plane flies completely different and is unflyable and extremely unstable and crashes very easily and oscillates violently. It seems like in manual mode the plane should fly exactly the same as if arduplane was not in the simulation loop. I have done the radio calibration and compared the control surfaces movement on the ground and they seem to be the same. I’m wondering how arduplane can cause such a variation when it should be duplicating the RC input in manual mode.
Has anybody experienced this issue? Is there a setting in x-plane I’m missing?
