Working with rc copter

Hey guys!

I recently bought a copter called a quadrone pro from Brookstone. It flies very well and is R/C- I’m curious if I can pair this with my Macbook Air on APM planner? Or, is this impossible? I don’t want to screw up my warranty  Thanks so much!

Not likely as from what I’ve seen it’s a micro-quad and I don’t think it would be big enough for even a mini apm or mini pixhawk to be fitted.

What I’m saying is, can you just connect any rc device? Or, does it have to be pix hawk to be compatible? Is there a patch? It’s basically is a Syma drone but only rc.

Sorry, APM planner (and Mission planner) are the software interfaces to work with; and configure APM and Pixhawk flight controllers.

Thanks for the info- btw can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

No APM Planner does not work with those type of micro drones. It is compatible with ardupilot.com flight controllers.
