Wiring Ublox GPS + Compass to Matek F405-Wing V2 FC

Hi!

I have the Matek F405-Wing V2 Flight Controller and I’m planning to use it to fly a fixed-wing plane to a specific point.

For the GPS, my country only has Ublox NEO 6M/7M GPS units with 5 pins, which don’t have a built-in compass.

Can I wire this to my FC and then wire a separate compass, like the HMC5883L?

I’m quite clueless about this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sure you can. GPS to a serial port Compass to I2C. Surprised all you can find is an old 6M/7M. The M10, with a compass, are cheap and seemingly everywhere.
