Wind speed failsafe and autoland feature suggestion

It would be nice to have a wind speed failsafe that would use the wind speed reading already built into mission planner that would automatically make the plane RTL and autoland. This could be done by saying if wind speed is x for x seconds RTL is triggered.

With the RTL and autoland instead of building the landing sequence it could set a pitch down to start at X m away from the landing point.

This is a great idea. If you’re trying to do endurance flights and then the wind suddenly picks up, you want to return to base and land. You would just need to work out how long thermals last for so you didn’t rtl every thermal.

Too bad I can’t code or I’d have a go at it.
