Why hasn’t compassmot been integrated into the Ardurover code?

Usually the compass on a rover chassis is not surrounded by 4, 6, or 8 brushless electric motors.
Also the GPS/Compass module can be mounted fairly far away from a 2WD rear mounted motor or a center located 4WD motor location.
