What Cameras do you use for mapping?

What cameras do you guys use in your setup? I currently use a Sony A5100 and wanted to switch to a camera with a hot-shoe. Any suggestions?

A Sony A6000 has been working well for me, including hot-shoe camera feedback. It’s a little larger and heavier than the A5100 but you would be able to re-use all the same lenses and batteries, etc.
