Flying APM in miniTalon…been working great in all modes including missions…however, today was a particularly windy day (25mph) and I noticed that cross wind tracks were slowly weaving ~100-150 feet…normally they have been very tight…period was about 10sec for the weave…NAVL1_period is default(20)…the wiki says that weaving can occur with non-responsive platforms and to increase the period, but the miniTalon is very responsive…and increasing the period seems counter-intuitive…the bank angles during the weave are fairly shallow <10deg…
RTH circling is pretty tight also, but does balloon some on the cross wind portions…in lower winds its a perfect circle at the set radius…
any suggestions on what params to tweak?
