We need TTA function to improve the performance of DDFP helicopters





I built a ghots4 direct-drive helicopter, which uses 8120 motor and 600mm blade. Tail motor 2808, 12-inch blade.Can fly for 60 minutes , ARDUOPILOT4.2
Due to the lack of TTA function, the tail motor can not CCW stop well.I hope developers can add TTA functions.

@PENG this seems like a great feature. I just submitted a pull request that adds thrust linearization and voltage compensation for DDFP tails. So that should be in 4.4. I do not own or fly a heli with DDFP tail so I can’t test these features.

I don’t see me having time to figure this out and code it up. I welcome anyone in the community that has coding experience to step in. I’d be more than willing to provide guidance.

@PENG the other option is that your company, Anduril, pay a developer to implement this feature. Many of the developers do consulting work.
