We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at Data Blanket.
Data Blanket is an early-stage startup that is changing the way firefighters fight wildfires. Our state-of-the-art technology provides integrated communication, intelligence, and AI-based tactical situation awareness and call to action. We are developing top-notch drone technology that has the potential to save lives and make a significant positive impact on the environment.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for applying artificial intelligence (AI), optimization, and advanced algorithms to create discrete simulations, path planning, and collision avoidance strategies. Your work will ensure the safe and effective operation of our drone swarms, making a significant impact in emergency and firefighting applications.
Requirements:
o At least 2 years of experience in the field of software engineering, with a
focus on drone or robotics technology.
o Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
o Hands-on experience building and flying drones.
o Strong understanding of drone autopilot and GCS software.
o Experience with ArduPilot, Mavlink protocol and companion computers.
o Experience working in Linux environment.
o Working permit in the USA
