Hi, not sure if this should be here or somewhere else, but here goes.
I was running a mission on a octocopter with the geofence set for both circle and altitude. The problem arose when the 'copter headed toward a waypoint that was outside the geofence. As should happen, the geofence triggered and the copter performed the RTL feature that I had configured.
The triggering is not really my issue. My issue is that there was no warning upon loading/launching that the waypoint was outside the geofence radius. Upon loading, the copter might not have enough info, but certainly before launching into the mission, the copter has enough info to send a warning to the user that one waypoint lies outside the geofence and refuse to start the mission (so maybe this belongs outside the mission planner forum?).
