Wanting to get into this but need some help

Hey guys. I’ve seen some amazing video on this in the last day or so. I fly drones but I want to make my own quadcopter. I dont have much money right now to invest though. Is the FrSky x9 good enough for me? its only like 100 bucks and I know I dont need 20 buttons on it. Need some help on what to buy. I appreciate it.

Radiomaster 16x is a better choice IMHO

Radiomaster TX16S. It’s a great radio (have 2) but it’s $200. The $100 offerings are the TX12 or Zorro. Be sure you understand the RC Protocols these and the Frsky radios support.
