VTOL BiCopter based, center of gravity question

I saw a code came out for Bicopter.
How far can the center of gravity of the BiCpter VTOL QuadPlane motors line can be? Or alternatively, how sensitive is the bicopter configuration to the position of the motor axis relative to the center of gravity?

In hover the center of gravity will be under directly under the motors. Where it ends up in the air frame just determines what pitch angle that will be at.

This means that for an aircraft both motors must be aligned on the center of gravity axis, at least in the VTOL phase.
