With the standard features of Plane 3.3 would it be possible to set up a vertical stabilisation mode, with control over pitch and yaw. I have a vertical take off application, that would be similar to “prop hanging”, initially, and this would be followed by a transition to normal horizontal flight. The aircraft I am using has a single electric motor, and normal rudder and elevators.
Further to my original post I thought I should mention that the aircraft in question will have folding wings, and thrust vectoring, hence the requirement for a pitch and yaw stabilisation during launch. The aircraft will be ejected vertically, and the thrust vectoring will be used to maintain a vertical attitude while the wings are unfolding.
