Using RPLIDAR S1 on rover

Hello, I am a novice, maybe my English is not good enough.
I would like to sincerely ask a question, in the Rover documentation (original link below: RPLidar A2 and S1 360 degree lidar — Rover documentation), PIXHAWK and RPLIDAR connection and the mission planner on setting is correct? Is this use of RPLIDARS1 supported only by Rover 4.5.0 and above? Rover 4.2.3 release and PIXHAWK X7+, which I am currently using, will display: PreArm: check proximity sensor after performing operations on the document. I wonder if this has anything to do with the Rover version.
I hope anyone can help me.

Yes, you need to update the firmware for it to work.

Hi @Aster,

By the way, we have some reports of issues with the RPLidarS1 on this discussion. It’s not clear what the issue is yet.
