Is it possible to use ardupilot without it being a uav setup? To explain I have a lidar system in a fixed wing aircraft that has good gps and imu signals with a stand alone camera (Nikon). I would like to trigger the camera using ardupilot software over the survey area where it is getting input signals from the lidar system i.e nmea gps etc. I’m also looking at the Seagull #MAP-X2 system to log information from the camera but unsure if ardupilot is capable of using the GPS etc I have in the aircraft.
Can you guys steer me in the right direction?
