Using AP3.5 on a plane with no rudder?

Hello!

New to the forum. Stoked to be here. Haven’t been able to explicitly find this answer on the forum:

Is it possible to use AP3.5/Pixhawk on a plane that doesn’t utilize a rudder? I have a tailless aircraft that utilizes elevons. Wondering if it would be possible to use AP3.5 with this particular setup?

Please forgive the naivety.

Absolutely, you can use a conventional layout without rudder or a tailless flying wing using elevons. In the radio calibration of mandatory hardware in the Mission Planner there are options for elevon setup and reversing of one or both elevons.

@Graham,

Really appreciate the information! Thank you for taking the time. Pretty stoked to give it a go :slight_smile:
