TX16S Telemetry issues

Hi everyone,

After seeking on the internet and asking how to have a feedback of my copter battery (and other telemetry data) on my Radiomaster TX16S, I’ve decided to get a FrSky RX8R receiver, plugging it to my Pixhawk 6X flight controller and binding it to the TX16S.
However, when I go to the Telemetry sub-menu of the TX16S model, I only got the GPS sensors.
How can I do to solve this problem and have all the Pixhawk 6X telemetry sensors ?

Here is the setup :
Receiver : FrSky RX8R - EU LBT (or LBT(EU)) with Smart port
Pixhawk 6X : RC_IN port and TELEM3 port are plugged to the RX8R SBUS IN port and Smart port respectively (even if I plug the Pixhawk 6X RC_IN to the SBUS OUT port the problem remains the same)
Transmitter : Radiomaster TX16S Mark 2 with Internal RF Mode MULTI and FrSky X2 LBT (EU) configurations

I know that I have to use Yaapu Telemetry, but to use it I must have all sensors before (at least , the LIPO battery voltage must be displayed) , because it uses the transmitter telemetry list to display copter informations on the interface. I must fix this step before installing iNAV and Yaapu scripts.

Have you flashed the latest ACCST V2 firmware to your Rx? Also as @fqahmad66 wrote, FrSky passthrough needs to be enabled.

Might want to try fine tuning the frequency, as explained here.

I didn’t flashed the latest version of ACCST V2 firmware on the RX8X, but I modified the right parameter in Mission Planner to enable the usage of the S.port.

It was because I was following a video where iNAV and Yaapu were installed on the TX16S. But I don’t really need it.

I installed only Yaapu script on my TX16S µSD card and and created a menu for its interface (without flashing the latest ACCST firmware).

Despite the fact that I don’t have all the sensors in my telemetry list in the Telemetry menu on the TX16S, when I go in the Yaapu interface, I see the copter battery voltage and current.

I checked if the values displayed were the same as ones on the Mission Planner HUD and it was. But it seems that there is some latency (variation of values displayed on the MP HUD are not synchronized with ones on the Yaapu interface when I arm my copter).

Can you post your params file? I’ve got a similar setup and have full telemetry.

I would also urge you to flash the latest ACCST V2 firmware to your Rx. I’m suspecting you’re using ACCST V1 on the Rx and V2 on the Tx (“FrSky X2”).

Not familiar with your specific FC, but try setting SERIAL5_OPTIONS (or SERIAL6_OPTIONS, you’ve configured both for telemetry) to 0, i.e. unselect everything in the bitmask.

Sorry for the delay, I’ve changed the value of the SERIAL6_OPTIONS parameter to 0 but nothing have changed on my TX16S. Updating the ACCST firmware on the RX to find a solution to this issue of sensor list. :person_shrugging:

Good decision. There’s no way to find out what version of ACCST is currently flashed to any given FrSky receiver that I’m aware of, so that way you’ll at least know that your FrSky X2 protocol is the right one.

Hi, I’ve flashed the ACCST V2 on the RX8R PRO. Now in the Telemetry menu of the TX16S quadcopter model, I can see my copter sensors :
