Salutations all, I think Rover/Arduboat needs two way speed controllers with a mid point of 1500, but have made myself confused looking at.

Would like to make a junk boat for our fishing sonar with son #2 in what is looking to be a hard lockdown coming up in RSA.
Will order some boat ESC’s from China if this is in the too hard category.

Right, the ESC’s generally need to be configured for forward/reverse. Most ESC’s for RC cars/trucks will do and most are waterproof.
Just to reply to myself, I found this thread to be very useful and more what I was thinking about
I am thinking of making a PVC pipe box to sit on top of my canoe. I suspect there will be little to no control authority!
