I don’t want my peripheral running for the full flight. For example, this may be a camera, or a video transmitter, or similar. How can I (via Mavlink), cut power to the peripheral?
We simply use a solid state relay operated from either one of the FC Aux ports if we want it to be auto or semi auto or as a passthrough from the RC or directly from the radio Rx.
If you are using passthrough or Rx port you need to use a PWM switch, but as the outputs of the FC can be set to relay, we find this serves out purpose.
