I have an old 3DR origional IRIS.
The old FRSKY TX is dead, so I waned to repace it with a TBS Crossfire.
Does someone have a working parameter set that supports the ESC, safety switch etc… on an original IRIS with the camera gimbal?
I updated to the latest firmware, but setup under mission planner is still kind of weird.
For instance the drop down boxes for all the flight modes are blank?
I’m flying an IRIS+ here, completely rebuilt. The latest 'Copter release flies pretty well after updating some parameters that IRIS required. It tuned up well and if you’re willing to do the work you should be happy.
I should add that I ‘merged’ the IRIS+ parameters from the config page, right side, with the latest 'Copter, maintaining my changes. With only the throttle notch tuning done (after a full setup) it still flew, but was twitchy. A look at the rates verified the issues.
HOWEVER, @rmackay9 , I would be very interested in your additional IRIS+ params. I’ve put in a lot of time on the bird and have no problem experimenting.
No the defaults all seemed to match the parameters that rmackay9 posted.
I’m using a tx16s with EdgeTx as the controller. I had to map some switches and do a bit of adjustment on the 6 posiiton switch to get all the modes…
I have
Manual
Stabilize
Loiter,
Autotune (did not need this)
Return to land and
auto
On the s positions of the 6 pos switch. To make this work I had to set gain to 75% and add some offset…
