At the end of the firmware update (with APM Planner v2.0.9 for Arduplane v3.0.2 firmware) I got the error message: Failed while verifying block 952 How can I solve this problem.

I have exactly the same error.
I’m using APM Planner 2.0.9 on OS X 10.8.5.
Then I have tried to update the firmware on an old Win XP machine with an old Mission Planner an it works without error on the first try.
There must be a Problem with APM Planner.
APM Planner has it’s own implementation of the Arduino FW uploader. Can you post details of the HW you are using. It’s likely you are not using the newest bootloader and this is causing the issue.
I think you mean details of the APM hardware and not the Mac, right?
I use an RCTimer Arduflyer 2.5 from November 2012.
How can I check the bootloader or where can I get a newer one and how do i upload the newer bootloader (I have USBAsp)?
